Home.... it's where we root down. We get to create a space to call our own. We shouldn't have to question if that space can hurt us, but do need to.
From toxic building products, toxic home cleaners, and environmental hazards like mold and radon, the home can quickly become a space that creates illness in us and those we love. As a Colorado Real Estate Broker Associate and Realtor®, these are conversations and situations I am helping my clients navigate more frequently. This is why I bring this conversation and set of resources to you.
Everyone deserves to live in a healthy home.
Hiring a wellness-focused real estate agent who is connected with healthy home experts and understands the fundamentals of creating a healthier home can provide numerous benefits for homeowners and buyers.
Here are some of the benefits:
Improved Health: A wellness-focused real estate agent can help homeowners and buyers identify homes that have features that promote good health and well-being. For example, they can suggest homes with good air quality, natural lighting, and green spaces, which are all known to have positive effects on health.
Better Energy Efficiency: A wellness-focused real estate agent can help homeowners and buyers find homes with energy-efficient features such as proper insulation, efficient heating and cooling systems, and energy-saving appliances. These features not only promote a healthier environment but also lead to significant cost savings.
Access to a Network of Experts: (scroll down!) Wellness-focused real estate agents often have connections with experts in various fields related to healthy homes, such as green builders, energy auditors, and air quality specialists. This can provide homeowners and buyers with access to trusted professionals who can help them create a healthier home environment.
Increased Property Value: Homes that are designed with health and wellness in mind often have higher property values. By working with a wellness-focused real estate agent, homeowners and buyers can invest in a property that not only provides health benefits but also offers a higher return on investment.
Education on Healthy Homes: A wellness-focused real estate agent can provide homeowners and buyers with education and resources on how to maintain a healthy home. This can include tips on proper ventilation, cleaning, and maintenance, which can help improve the overall health of the home environment.
Overall, a wellness-focused real estate agent can provide significant benefits for homeowners and buyers who are interested in creating a healthier home environment. With their expanded network and knowledge of healthy home fundamentals, they can help clients make informed decisions that promote health, well-being, and financial value.

Nancy is a family doctor whose practice of medicine has changed considerably over the 35-plus years of her career. After deciding that interacting with people would be much more fun and interesting than interacting with distillation towers, she left her job as a chemical engineer and went to medical school in Boston where, unbeknownst to her, she was likely bitten by a Lyme-infected tick while exploring the New England countryside. Having limited symptoms, she finished her training, and went on to practice Family Medicine in Denver for several decades. Eventually, her frustration with pharmaceutically-centered corporate medicine led her to Functional/Integrative Medicine and her own solo practice.
Her discovery in 2016 that she had chronic Lyme disease, mold toxicity, and mast cell activation syndrome revolutionized both her life and her practice. Having now pursued extensive training in these conditions, she uses her many years of personal and clinical experience to diagnose and treat those with elusive, treatment-resistant, "mystery" illnesses as well as those with known Lyme, mold, and MCAS diagnoses. Since 2020, she has also had success in treating COVID, long COVID, and vaccine side effects. Nancy is passionate about supporting her patients with these conditions and continues to pursue knowledge of the most up to date treatments in this field of medicine.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and received her MD from Harvard Medical School. She has recently transitioned to a virtual practice and works from her home in Denver.

I'm a Certified Professional, Master Home Inspector (CPI, CMI). I have been in the home renovation and repair industry since 1992. I began my Home Inspection career in January, 2017.
And as a woman Home Inspector, I provide same day detailed home inspection reports including pictures and clear explanations. When possible, I like going on rooftops, in attics, and in crawlspaces. I make sure I provide guidance for the systems of your home.
I became an inspector because I wanted to know what an inspector looks for in a home.
I am better than the rest because I am the one that wants to give the honest response to every question based on my experience and training/education.
I am passionate about inspections because I want you to feel confident in the biggest purchase you may make. (Every client can’t wait to buy the house that I can’t wait to inspect.) I understand that nearly every house may have a need and I like to help discover what it is.
